Digital Radio Mondiale
Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) is a consortium dedicated to forming a single world standard for digital broadcasting in the AM radio bands below 30 MHz. Fraunhofer IIS was among the founding members of the organization. Today, the consortium has more than 90 members worldwide and comprises broadcasters, network operators, receiver and transmitter manufacturers, research institutes and standardization bodies.Fraunhofer IIS staff has been very successful in the fields of channel coding and modulation, system evaluation, receiver implementation as well as test & measurement.
