AAC audio encoder and decoder for Analog Devices

Fraunhofer IIS guarantees instant access to turnkey audio codec solutions. A team at the Audio & Multimedia business field has specialized on the efficient implementation of multimedia technologies on various PC and DSP platforms as well as operating systems.

Our offering includes AAC fixed point implementation for AAC encoder and decoder for Analog Devices. Please follow the links below for an overview of the AAC codecs available for Analog Devices.

In addition, optimized code can be licensed for various compiler tool chains, including:

  • all MIPS-based processors
  • all ARM based processors
  • PowerPC processors
  • Starcore, Texas Instruments TMS320C5x and Freescale (Motorola) Coldfire (only source code).

For a number of DSPs, Fraunhofer IIS offers audio codecs specifically optimized at assembler level for the target platform. Implementations for the following platforms are available:

  • Freescale (Motorola) 563xx*
  • Texas Instruments TMS320C67xx.
