In March 2007, Fraunhofer USA, Inc. established Digital Media Technologies (DMT), which promotes and supports the products of Fraunhofer IIS in the United States.
After only 15 months in operation, DMT has become an important strategic partner for Fraunhofer IIS in the market development and introduction of new products.
Fraunhofer USA, Inc. is a non-profit research and development organization, with headquarters in Plymouth, Michigan. Fraunhofer USA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft.
