Encode image sequences, quick and easy
The Fraunhofer JPEG 2000 Encoder for Quicktime enables you to encode image sequences easy and directly from any Quicktime-hosting application, even without having experience.
The creation of DCPs (Digital Cinema Package) and Archive Packages IAP, MAP (Intermediate Access Package, Master Archive Package) can already be parallelized during postproduction. The data, which has to be exchanged between several programs, can be reduced drastically. This is possible because JPEG 2000 is a compression-format of highest quality.
Quicktime-sequences in JPEG 2000 format can be produced by every program hosting Quicktime plugins. Afterwards, this films can be converted by corresponding programs, e.g. easyDCP Creator(+) and Curator Archive Suite. There is no need to convert the data again if the correct parameters are chosen. To make the choice easier several parameter-sets for frequently used applications – like Digital Cinema or digital archiving - are already defined within Fraunhofer’s JPEG 2000 Plugin for Quicktime.
