Uncover the Invisible

For many years our focus lies on research and development of professional camera systems with special requirements for the industry and medical technic sector. For our customers we develop prototypes and evaluation models which are one step ahead the market.

 

Cameras for Special Use

  • POLKA

    Our POLKA compact polarization camera makes the invisible visible by registering a property of light that is imperceptible to the human eye: polarization. While we perceive the intensity and wavelength of light as brightness and color, respectively, we lack the capacity to detect its polarization.

  • Embedded multi-sensor camera system for ToF measurement and 3D data analysis

    The purpose of this project is to design a multi-sensor camera system combining HDTV and Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors.

    The Electronic Imaging Department at Fraunhofer IIS practices research and development in the field of professional high-end camera systems for the use in the medical technology. Particularly we have a focus on endoscopy camera systems.

    The range of our customers reaches from medium sized to large industry companies. As a well-respected partner for research and development we offer our customers a wide spectrum of scientific and technical competence:
