Nowadays you can’t revert to film as a storage medium in the digitally production of high quality imaging material. To preserve highest quality uncompressed recording of digital data in necessary.

The department of moving picture technologies works on different types of recorders for the production, which enable to record image data uncompressed and in RAW-data format without losing quality. The systems are available as compact devices or as integratable technology

    FlashBOX records and displays uncompressed HD sequences in YCbCr422, RGB 444 or Dual Stream YCbCr422 onto SSD cartridges. Its compact size of 175 x 115 x 74 mm and its light-weight of 1500 gramms makes it dockable to any camera or camera dolly.

    megacine is a portable recording system able to store uncompressed HD data streams and raw data with a resolution of up to 2880 x 2160 pixels. Its compact size makes megacine the ideal solution for film sets and data tranfer to post production.
