We will do for you consulting, user-specific development, adaptation and realization of different mobile phone systems like GSM, DCS, PCS, UMTS or private cellular systems (TETRA/TETRAPOL). The Fraunhofer IIS has acquired its know-how in different mobile phone standards through many projects - from specification, via modeling and system simulation up to the development of application specific integrated circuits. Standards for professional radio communication (Globalstar or GEO) have been borne in mind next to the IMT-2000 summarized standards (among other things UMTS and DECT) in the multi standard front end we have developed.
The global mobile phone standards GSM and UMTS occupy the central position in the work for the multi standard front end. Basic developments for linearization of HF-power amplifiers have been carried out while working in the scope of UMTS.
