A device-specific analysis of the momentary status is required to increase energy efficiency through continuous performance control and real-time consumption information. The early detection of errors affecting energy consumption must be guaranteed. Fraunhofer IIS offers a wide range of solutions. We have design expertise from wireless current detection at the devices and collection and evaluation of the sensor data to self organizing networks equipped with WakeUp circuits.
Our IC design activities include both complex digital design (sub-micron and deep sub-micron) and mixed-signal design (ADU, engine control, sensor signal processing, RF).
Our Virtual ASIC Foundry offers the production of even the smallest number of ASICs.
