Line and Image Sensors
- Line sensor with 2 lines of 1024 pixels each, in a pixel grid of 9 µm
Photo sensors can not only be used as single devices but can also be arranged in lines or arrays. The implementation of some additional transistors leads to a user-defined controlling and read-out. A pool of pixels allows for assembling line and image sensors.
Sensor technology and digital cameras are the application fields where line and image sensors are used. Inter alia, we work especially on the set-up of high speed cameras and the design of the appropriate CMOS imagers.
