Fotosensors can not only be applied as single elements but also be arranged in lines or arrays. By adding a few transistors to the photodiode a pixel will result, that can arbitrarily be controlled and read out. With a multitude of pixels eventually sensor lines or arrays and complete picture sensors can be built.
Applications can be identified in sensor systems or in digital cameras. We are especially active in building high speed cameras and in designing the appropriate CMOS picture sensors
