As part of the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS we conduct research and design in the field of application specific integrated RF circuits (RFIC) in the frequency range between 300 MHz and 60 GHz.
The IC production is based on state-of-the-art silicon and GaAs technologies of commercial semiconductor vendors. As an independent design house our decision for the most appropriate semiconductor technology is led by technical and economic aspects.
In close cooperation with our system departments we are able to develop even complex complete solutions ready to go into commercial production.
