Microwave ASICs in Silicon

Integrated Microwave circuits used to be an exclusive domain of compound semiconductor technologies like GaAs. State-of-the-art SiGe and deep submicron CMOS technologies allow the integration of microwave circuits well into the double-digit GHz range.

We have been able to transfer our longstanding experience in the field of professional circuits with highest performance in GaAs to Si-based technologies. Our know-how of broadband circuits has been expanded up to 22 GHz.

In preliminary projects we are working on our know-how extension up to a frequency range of 60 GHz. Thus we provide the basis for low-cost silicon based radar and sensor applications.
