laser sheet of light measurement system for tire inspection
The TireChecker measurement system consists of a single or multiple laser sheet-of-light sensors and a dedicated PC-based evaluation system allowing complete geometry measurements at high speed. The system detects bulges and indentations, radial and lateral runout, harmonics, etc. precisely and reliably during a single revolution of the tire. The complete evaluation of all tire features is achieved through the use of line lasers, even on complex surfaces like lettering. This allows e.g. the accurate measurement of the extent of anomalies in all three dimensions.
Funktionsprinzip
Beim Lichtschnittverfahren wird eine Lichtlinie auf den Reifen projiziert und diese mit einer Spezialkamera unter einem Winkel zur Projektionsrichtung aufgezeichnet. Aus dem Verlauf der Lichtlinie wird ein Höhenprofil berechnet. Durch Drehung des Reifens werden innerhalb einer Sekunde bis zu 4000 Höhenprofile der Oberfläche aufgezeichnet.
Proven Technology
The innovative TireChecker measurement system has become an immediate success since its introduction in 2000. In cooperation with our partners we have realised over 35 measurement systems to date, which are in use 24/7 at tire and auto manufacturers.
Custom Solutions
Our strength is our flexibility: we engineer the optimal solution for specific requirements in close cooperation with our customers. We offer equipment manufacturers the adaptation of the entire measurement system to their tire handling machines and the option to produce the measurement system under license. Sensors and software can be adapted to specific measuring tasks on request to suit the end customer’s needs. In cooperation with our partners we can also realise turn-key measurement machines for new applications.
