Bilkent University Ankara – Fraunhofer IIS

The cooperation between the EEE Department of Bilkent University and the Fraunhofer IIS is dating back to spring 2010. During his visit to Turkey, Prof. Heinz Gerhäuser and Abdullah Atalar, Rector of Bilkent University, agreed on the outset of a mutual exchange program.

Master and bachelor students (after their third year of studies) are offered to intern at the Fraunhofer IIS or the Chair of Information Technologies with focus on Communication Electronics ( LIKE) of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg.

The internship should not last less than 3 months. Starting date and duration are flexible and can be arranged with the supervisor.  An extension of the internship and the preparation of Bachelor's or Master's Thesis are possible upon mutual agreement.

Please note that the application for a work permit and a visa is necessary. We therefore recommend you to start your application process three months before your favoured starting date.
