Interns

Testing the waters

Fraunhofer IIS gives students of relevant fields of study the unique opportunity to be involved in the actual work of significant industrial and scientific projects. Roll up you sleeves and get to work with leading-edge technologies and equipment in a fast-paced research environment. A Fraunhofer internship will deepen your theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom and put it to practice in a setting of internationally sought-after research. For many an internship is the first step towards building a career. Interns will be assigned specific tasks and responsibilities and work side-by-side with senior-level scientists and engineers.

Internships may provide the opportunity to cover research topics that have been announced as topics for seminar papers or diploma theses. Please contact your internship supervisor for details.

Mandatory internships are an integral part of the curriculum and are subject to the rules and regulations of student internships of the respective university.
