Fraunhofer IIS has been creating technologies and solutions for the film industry for over 15 years. The close cooperation with filmmakers and distributors for the development of easyDCP, the software suite for the creation of Digital Cinema Packages, delivered unique insights that were leveraged in the conception and ongoing development Post-pro Cloud.
Post-pro Cloud makes AI-enhanced tools easily available through a flexible, cloud-based platform. Our goal is to enable creators to combine their preferred tools for transcription, diarization, and translation into a custom subtitling and localization workflow.
The ongoing R&D project will combine the best AI-tools on the market into an easy-to-use, customizable localization workflow that adapts exactly to individual users’ requirements and preferences.
Starting with subtitle creation in the cloud with your preferred transcription service, the platform will grow to encompass speaker detection and translation services as we keep developing it to include cutting-edge generative AI features, such as speech-driven facial animation.
