December 14, 2021 | In this video interview, Dr. Nadja Hoßbach is looking at data-driven processes, business models and the people in the organization in the context of Industry 4.0.

For a successful digital transformation, companies must focus on both their core business and new data-driven business models. After all, the introduction of new technologies is always also a question of economic efficiency – it only makes sense if these make business processes more efficient, reduce costs or enable additional services. The human factor also plays a key role in the success and productivity of Industry 4.0 technologies and applications. About Dr. Nadja Hoßbach

Dr. Nadja Hoßbach is head of the Innovation and Transformation Department at the Center for Applied Research on Supply Chain Services at Fraunhofer IIS. Nadja and her team develop management-oriented models and tools as well as data-based processes that focus on supporting traditional companies in their transformation to a more data-driven organization and business models. In addition to the further development of market research tools based on text analytics, the team identifies and evaluates potentials of solutions enabled on the basis of digital technologies and focuses on user-centric approaches in the development of new services. Nadja Hoßbach studied and earned her doctorate in business informatics at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and has eight years of project experience from her work for international management consultancies in the areas of corporate management, controlling and IT management.
