Call for Papers

We are pleased to announce that the 12th International Conference on Industrial Computed Tomography (iCT2023) will be held in Fürth, Germany between February 27th  and March 2nd,  2023.

This annual conference is a coming together of those working across the globe in research relating to the following accepted topics:

  • CT for non-destructive testing of metals, plastics, composites, ceramics and other materials
  • Application of CT in automotive, aerospace and material industry
  • CT as a tool for the development of new materials and components
  • CT for 3D material characterisation
  • Geometry determination with macro and micro-CT
  • Evaluation and visualisation of CT data
  • New algorithms and software tools for the evaluation and visualisation of CT data
  • Initial sampling inspection and reverse engineering
  • Correction and filter methods for the improvement of CT results
  • Quantitative evaluations for CT data
  • Standardisation of CT
  • New CT methods for high resolution, energy dispersive and fast CT
  • Synchrotron-CT methods
  • New developments in CT system technology including X-ray detectors and sources
  • Phase contrast and grating interferometer CT

The iCT2023 is organised by the Fraunhofer Development Center for X-ray Technology (EZRT), a division of the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.

The conference programme will include keynote speeches, oral presentations, poster sessions,  an industrial exhibition and a social programme.

Abstract Submission & Review Procedure:

Abstcract submission for poster till September 30th, 2022

 

  • The submitted extended abstracts will be reviewed and selected by the programme committee. The programme committee decides on the types of presentation based on the authors' preferences.
  • If a contribution is accepted by the programme committee, the authors will receive a notification.
  • For the submission of your extended abstract you have to register HERE.  After that you will be able to upload the extended abstract (word template / LaTex Template) for the contribution type oral presentation and paper or poster and paper.
  • Please note that papers are mandatory for accepted contributions in both cases and that at least one author MUST be registered for the conference by the date of final paper submission.
  • Depending on the number of submitted contributions, the programme committee will select some contributions for a poster with short talk.
  • Please see the guidelines for more detailed instructions for authors.

Publishing and Submission Agreement

The abstracts of all accepted contributions will be published in the book of abstracts in hard copy by a publishing house and distributed to all registered delegates at the conference.

Final versions of the accepted contributions will be made freely accessible on NDT.net - Open Access Archive of Nondestructive Testing ISSN 1435-4934 (www.ndt.net)  after the conference closure.

By submitting a paper I authorize Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft to announce the paper at the conference if my paper should be selected for presentation. I agree to follow the registration procedure and pay the applicable registration fee in order to be able to present my paper at the conference. Furthermore, I authorize Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft to transfer my submitted papers to NDT.net for publishing and have understood that Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft is not responsible for publication itself.
