Binaural Playback for Realistic Immersion

At its core, Cingo relies on advanced binaural rendering. It accommodates playback to the nature of human hearing, utilizing so-called psychoacoustic principles to create virtual sound scenes. The result is a spatial impression indistinguishable from that of a real acoustic environment.

Cingo for Headphones and Wearables

Cingo creates an enveloping virtual scene from 2-channel legacy input and enables rendering of surround and immersive audio content – directly on the head-worn device.
The sound stage is no longer perceived as “inside the head”, but in front of and around the listener. This leads to a more natural listening experience and makes extended listening sessions more comfortable.
Head-tracking reacts to the rotation of the listener’s head and greatly enhances the sense of being ‘in the scene’.

Cingo for Loudspeakers

Dedicated speaker processing enables the virtual surround feature even for playback over stereo loudspeakers, like in laptops, tablets, or smartphones.
In these instances, the sound appears to originate from outside the device and feels spacious and enveloping. Cingo for Loudspeakers improves any source material from legacy stereo content to contemporary 3D formats. The result is always an engaging and compelling immersive experience that puts the listener in the center of the virtual acoustic environment.
