E2E validation and deployment tool for vehicle functions in 5G networks

September, 13 2022 | Interview with Julia Kolb and Thomas Kleinhenz (Elektrobit)

Fraunhofer IIS and Elektrobit are working on the E2E simulation environment, which enables customers from the automotive sector to develop complex driving functions in a closed environment while taking into account communication (C-V2X) and sensor information (lidar, radar, camera, GPS, GNS). Automotive customers can explore and evaluate vehicle algorithms and functions at a very early stage of the development process – including automatic code generation – and test these algorithms on the model vehicle hardware.
