Interface tester for OBISS-based SDRs

 

The DT4610 is an interface tester for the OBISS SDR interface between a baseband unit (BBE) and a transmit and receive module (S/EM). The DT4610 provides four operating modes: Interface test for S/E-M, interface test for BBE, data capture between BBE and S/E-M and a baseband link between two BBEs.

Operating modes:

The DT4610 provides four operating modes:

  • Mode 1: Interface test S/E-M
    In this mode the DT4610 GST is connected to an S/E-M unit.
    The DT4610 GST can be used to generate test signals and to analyse signals.
  • Mode 2: Interface test BBE
    In this mode the DT4610 GST is connected to an BBE unit.
    The DT4610 GST can be used to generate test signals and to analyse signals.
  • Mode 3: Data capture between BBE and S/E-M
    In this mode the DT4610 GST is used as an analyser for signals in between an S/E-M unit and a BBE unit.
  • Mode 4: Baseband link between two BBEs
    In this mode the DT4610 is used as an adaptor to enable a direct data interconnection between two BBE units.
